Although both these types of breeds are used for hunting work yet, they have different kinds of work. Golden Retrievers guide the blind (guide dog), are hearing dogs (deaf people), hunting dogs, and illegal drug detection dogs. They also, work for the search & rescue team. However Labradors work different types of jobs. Like: tracking, detection, therapy work, and hunting. They also, do Search & Safety work a different rescue team.
Why not just have two dogs that love to work.
Both make excellent family dogs and love children. However both of these dogs have many different types of behaviors from each other. Golden retrievers are loyal, friendly, gentle, and eager to please, amiable to strangers, trusting, and poor guard dogs due to the kindness. They also are calm, natural, intelligent, ranked fourth in the intelligence of dos, patient with kids. There fun, active, and love to work, they focus on the keen task. They’re fantastic for some but not all. Labradors, however, are not territorial, pinning, insecure, love holding objects in their mouths (hands or arms) with gentleness. They also, are prone to chew objects, which they can be taught not to. Very even-tempered breed, excellent family dog, good with kids, fast, skilled workers, and very protective if owner is attacked, which a Golden retriever can't do. They mature at the age of 3 years old. Which ones better one who protects or intelligent?
Which one a Labrador or Golden retriever? Both these breeds are the same blood & dog. But, yet, have significant differences. I would have a golden retriever because they're so cute as puppies and they’re so very helpful with humans. Even though I would rather have a Golden retriever as a pet a lab is still a popular dog. Like in Canada, Australia, Untied Kingdom, and the United States. So what would you rather have, a golden retriever who is always loyal? Or would you rather have a Labrador retriever who will always protect you when you need it?
